APC Women & ICTs: An Overview

The APC WNSP facilitates the strategic use of ICTs in support of women's actions and agendas, to bring more attention to issues of concern to women, reinforce solidarity campaigns, enhance traditional women's networking activities and defend the rights of women to participate equally in civil and public life.

UNESCO Multimedia Training Kit More and more people are seeing the creative potential of linking the internet to more traditional communication technologies, particularly radio and television. This kit provides trainers in telecentres, community media organisations, etc with a structured set of materilas to help make the jump between new and traditional media.

APC ActionApps: Collaborative Web publishing tools for NGOs APC ActionApps offer a low cost solution for content sharing that both increases the functionality of not-for-profit and NGO websites and facilitates the creation of portals sites, improving the visibility of civil society information. They are driven by free/open source software.
